Paracetamol Alert

Whenever it's that time of the month, the quickest relief for me would be to reach for my Panadol. Only then would I be "human" again. Otherwise, I would feel irritated easily because of the cramps and all I want to do would be to crawl in my bed, lie in a fetal position and try to sleep.

Then last month, I got this email that is being circulated saying that Paracetamol is toxic to the body and can cause damage to the liver?! It also resides in the body for 5 years?! Paracetamol is also a pain killer so the more you take it, the lesser would be your pain threshold which means you would now have to take more or take something stronger to cut down any other pain.

Yikes!!! OMG!!

Tip: next headache you have, try taking a mixture of 1/2 100Plus and 1/2 plain water. Headache solved.

I Got A Secret

Everyone knows about me and my obsession with weight loss. It has become even more extreme because now I am weighing more than my ideal weight for my 1.61m height. I could go on weight loss pills and try to lose weight that way but I decided to do something more healthier and not too extreme. It is a secret for now but once I know it works and I got the prove, you'd be sure to read about it here..

Homemade Muffins

Ever wanted to try making your own Muffins at home. Try this simply yet delicious recipe:

Ingredients: (makes 9)
90gm butter
170g caster sugar
200g self-raising flour
2 eggs
70ml water
1 cup chocolate chips
raisins, dried cranberries or fresh blueberries


Method:

1. Pre-heat oven to 170 deg C
2. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and fold in about 15 times until the butter is incorporated
3. Add your choice of chocolate chips, raisins, cranberrries or blueberries to the mix
4. Place paper muffin cups in a muffin tray, fill each each cup halfway
5. Bake until golden brown, about 20 min
6. Remove, cool on rack and serve

A Decade of Love

This month on the 25th, My Azwaj and I would be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I can't believe we've been married for a DECADE! I can still remember our first date, the day I met his parents and our wedding day. God it seems only yesterday we exchanged pictures online..lol!

Azwaj and I didn't get engaged first. In fact we went straight from dating to marriage. I wished I had an awesome proposal or engagement story to tell but there was none. We both felt the love and we decided that the next step was marriage.

Work in Pajamas or Not

I've been blessed. Blessed because in my book, I'm running a successful home based business. I love that I don't have to dress up each morning and leave my house to go to work and I love that I can take any day off and just pack up and go back to Singapore anytime without any guilt in my heart.

This is especially so since in my previous workplace, as much as I love working there, going home at 6pm is like a half day for me and I work till the wee hours of the morning to meet deadline and make sure my boss have all this materials for early morning meeting.

Yes.. am loving my home based business for sure!

Snap and Click

Ever since I started blogging I found that I take pictures of almost everything.. even insignificant things like a cat drinking water from fountain or a dim sum that I bought yesterday. Stuff that makes a non-blogger would shake their head at. But do I care? Of course not. I just go on my merry little way clicking and snapping with my Canon camera at things that I think might make interesting blogging topic.

I am a blogger so sue me! lol!
