It's gonna be a busy next week for both me and Azwaj. We have to renew his car insurance and road tax. We also need to renew his company operating license as failure to renew it before the expiration date would result in a penalty which will possibly pay for another year of license!
I also need to prepare some shortcut notes for my FIL who is finally picking up MS Word and Excel. Lastly I desperately need a hair cut. I've been tying my poor hair in a tight ponytail coz of the weather, even my scalp is complaining!

I Need New Sofa
We are in dire need for a new sofa. However, it just can't be any regular sofa. It has to be durable enough to withstand the behavior of the house occupants, namely the six kitties ;)
Azwaj is more inclined to get patio furniture for the living room. I mean if it's hardy enough to withstand the weather, it must be hardy enough to take the onslaught from the kitties right. Oh well only time will tell as to what kind of furniture we will eventually get what with the impending move and all.

You know at the rate Azwaj is losing weight, I got to encourage him to eat more which literally means I got to eat more too.. coz this man won't eat if I don't eat! So I guess I got to get me the best diet pills available out there so that even when I eat, I will still not gain weight.. shh .. don't tell Azwaj though coz he'll think I'm cheating..lolzz!

My Hubby Lost Weight!
Why do men lose weight so more easily than women? Or is it just my hubby that is so? He went down from 65kilos to 57kilos in three month without needing any diet pills whatsoever while I did not lose any weight at all. I don't understand it at all coz we eat the same meals at the same time and we even sleep the same amount of time. The only difference is that he smokes while I don't. Hmm... is that the cause??

Handbag Hunting
It's been a while since I've gone handbag hunting. I was hoping to win the tote bag offered at Emila's blog but alas luck was not on my side..lolzz. So I guess I have to buy my next handbag. I'm hoping for some handbag sale somewhere because I'm really getting bored of the one I'm using right now. However it has to be of a specific size coz it has to fit the motorcycle basket!

Games Galore
I did not play much games when I was growing up. Technology wasn't great then. I did not even own a personal computer much less the xbox 360. Come to think of it, I did not even own a barbie doll!
Nowadays kids have it good. I know that my nephew and niece have most of the gadgets for any games at their disposals. As long as they do their homework, get good scores at school, their mother would get them any games they wanted. Ah.. such is the life.. I want to be a kid again!

I've always been lucky with my career choices. I was very fortunate to have worked for great companies and even greater immediate superiors. And I have employment agencies to thank for it. Working with the right employment agencies, making sure they know what kind of companies you want to work for can really open up your horizon. Sometimes human resources department from major corporations would rather work with reputable agencies who would have done the shortlisting for them as a first step. They would rather not waste time with the multitude of resumes to screen through and would rather leave that stage to the employment agencies.
Now with the internet, registering with reputable employment agencies is even easier. Registering and looking for an administrative jobs in Los Angeles or a sales position in other parts of States or the world for that matter is just a click away. So if you are looking for a career or a switch in employers, make sure you register and keep that resume updated. You'll never know when they're gonna call you for your next interview :)

SPF and PA?
Summer is here! And although that means it's extremely hot for me. It also means getting a tan for many. So I was thought this might be useful information as I myself was a bit blur about it...
What is the difference between SPF and PA?
Well the SPF number helps you figure out how long you can be in the sun before burning, which is caused by UVB rays. So if you usually burn after 10minutes and you have an SPF25 sunscreen, you can stay in the sun 25 times longer without burning which is 250minutes.
PA is the Japanese unit of measurement for UVA protection. The PA rating is usually followed by "+" signs - so the more pluses, the higher level of UVA protection.
