It's been a while since I've gone handbag hunting. I was hoping to win the tote bag offered at Emila's blog but alas luck was not on my side..lolzz. So I guess I have to buy my next handbag. Whenever I go shopping and for some reason land at the kid's corner, I am in awe at all the cute little outfit that you can get for your kids. From party dresses to awesome little sexy numbers that I can't help but get one or two for my own gift collection. I say "Gifts" coz I don't have kids yet, and so they are for nieces and my friend's kids. I also like to get baby gifts as standby gifts. After all, you never know when someone close is gonna give birth right

I always say how I love technology. This is especially so true when it comes to shopping. Where else can you find products like Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses if not for online shopping? Me and hubbs personally don't celebrate this day coz we believe everyday is a day for love and getting something for someone you love requires no special day. That being said, everything is so expensive around this time because stores are taking advantage of this very commercialised holiday. So be smart about where and when you shop. If possible at all shop early, possibly as early as Christmas when everything is at a discount.
Alternatively you can shop online. Some store offers fantastic discount or free shipping despite the holiday. Kohls coupon codes for example gives you 15% of your order and 30% Off no minimum when you use your Kohl's card.
So go ahead and shop for your loved ones this Valentine's day but remember shop smart and wise.. after all we are the women of the house ;)

If you've been reading my blog, you'll know that everytime I go back home to mommy, she always makes sure there's plenty of activities that me and her can do together. Among them are dinners and shopping. You'll also know that she got a new television set earlier and that she wanted some new light fixtures for her room. So again we went shopping. I remembered earlier in the week I saw some nice lights online from Kichler which I'm sure mommy would love. Too bad they don't deliver overseas otherwise I would love to order one for her as they are having 55% off their prices. I don't care that Singaporean say it's cheaper to shop in Malaysia. I still say shopping in Singapore is the best. A lot of items are still cheaper even with the current exchange rate (if you know where to shop that is). Where else can you get Kao Feather (or is it Heather) shampoo for S$1 a bottle (RM5.90 in KL) and Oral B toothbrush for S$0.80 (RM3.00 in KL) if not for Singapore... Aiyoo... going crazy looking at the current fashion as well.. I'm so gonna burst my budget...

I am a handbag lunatic. I can't leave a shopping mall without looking at handbags. The problem is I always end up buying one. Currently I have more handbags than I use and still find excuses to buy more! I already have a reason to buy my next one.

Back when I was a career woman, leaving the house with no makeup is a complete "no, no".. Being the personal assistant to the Vice President of a multinational company meant that I would meet visiting clients, so I need to be presentable and "pretty" (actually, more for vanity reasons - hehehe) all the time.
Now, however, since my office is at home, there's really no need to dress up and put on makeup anymore. I also find that I get lazier each day and the only make up that I do put on are my eyeliner and lipstick when I go out. The fact that hubby prefers me without makeup only makes it worse. Special events are the only times that I get "dolled" up for now.
Anyway, recently, I ran out of eyeliner and was looking for my usual brand when I stumbled on this new brand that I've never heard of. It's called "IN2IT". The brand carried the usual range of cosmetic like lipstick, eyeliner and compact powder. Since I could not find the brand I was looking for, I decided to give the eyeliner a try, after all it was only RM16.90 as opposed to the RM25.00 that I paid for.
