I love going through Musician’s Friend website with Azwaj. I always learn new things about the music world… and they always seems to have great offer that somehow makes everything affordable.. (dangerous to the wallet..lol)

Anyway, I found a cool melodyne plugin at Musicians Friend that I think might be useful for Azwaj and his latest project but I seriously don’t know what it does. Got to wait for him to wake up and find out..

Have a great weekend all!

Dry eyes syndrome is very common and can affect anyone, at any time. This condition can make the eyes sore, teary, or dry and can even lead to flaking eyelids. Fortunately, there are a number of simple solutions that can provide immediate and lasting relief from the problem. Online stores like EyeEco offer products and solutions specifically designed for people with dry eyes.

Common Treatments

Some of the most common treatments for dry eyes include the following:

  • Tear drops and ointments – You can find a number of generic eye drops and artificial tears at your local pharmacy or grocery store. For a severe problem, your doctor can prescribe stronger solutions.
  • Dry eye masks – There are a variety of eye masks that can treat various eye conditions, such as dry eyes, allergy symptoms, and more. These can often be warmed or frozen to reduce pressure to the area and provide instant relief from any eye irritations.
  • Deal with allergies – If you suffer from allergies, this may be bringing on your problem. If you deal with your allergy problem now, then you may be able to kick the dry eyes as well.
  • Fix your environment – If you already suffer from allergies, then adjusting your interior environment is especially important. Point any fans away from you, close the window, and do what you can to reduce dust and wind in your immediate area.

Computer Users

Many people find that spending time at the computer can bring on dry eyes or make a small problem much worse. If you work on a computer all day make sure to take small breaks from time to time so that your eyes can relax.

Should You Visit a Doctor?

If you have a serious problem that is affecting your everyday life, don’t wait to visit the doctor. You may be suffering from a more serious condition and your dry eyes are simply a symptom. There are more severe treatment options available, but it is best to start small to see if common solutions will work. Visit sites like EyeEco to see what options may work for your lifestyle, conditions, and budget.

dressFinding the perfect dress for an exciting evening out can be difficult. Whether you’re looking for a dress to wear to the prom, homecoming, or even a beauty pageant, it’s important to find an outfit and a style that works for you. Not only will you need to find a dress that flatters your body shape and size, but you’ll also need to make sure that your dress highlights your personal sense of style. Are you a tomboy? Are you a fashion guru? Do you like simplicity? No matter what your personal style might be, your dress should shout it to the world.

When you’re ready to start shopping for the perfect dress, make sure that you start shopping well in advance. It’s never a good idea to wait until the last minute to start looking for the perfect gown. What happens if you find the dress you want, but the store doesn’t have your size? What if the dress you like isn’t in stock? What if you have to fight another customer for the dress? As soon as you find out there’s going to be a special event, you need to start your shopping.

When you’re ready to go out, make sure that you visit several stores. Never go to just one store. Visiting a variety of stores will give you a general idea of what other people will be wearing. It will also let you know how much you can expect to spend. You may also want to consider shopping online, as this can be a good way to start figuring out what sorts of dresses you enjoy. While online shopping will certainly provide you with more variety, you’ll need to order your clothes well in advance so that you have time to return or exchange them should the dress fit improperly.

Remember that no matter what event you go to, you’ll need to accessorize. Don’t forget to dress up your gown with the perfect earrings, headband, and shoes. Wear your dress to the store when you go buy accessories to make sure that everything you buy matches your dress perfectly. This will ensure that there are no surprises on your big day. Whether you’re going to a cocktail party or a formal dance, you’ll want your dress to look amazing.

Hair loss is tough to deal with, no matter who you are. It can make you feel unattractive, and keep you from doing the things that you love. This can be especially true if you are a woman who is dealing with hair loss. Feminine beauty has always tended to be wrapped up in how a woman’s hair looks, and it can be devastating to deal with bald spots or all over hair loss as a woman.

Thankfully, there are some things you can do that can help you to come to terms with your hair loss, and still keep you feeling beautiful. With these tips and tricks, you will be feeling back to your old self in no time at all.

A wig is probably the easiest way to have the feeling of long, luxurious hair again if you’re suffering from hair loss. You can purchase wigs and hairpieces for women at AdventHair.com. These pieces can be made from human hair, which makes them all the more natural to style and wear. They also sell hair pieces and wigs that are made of synthetic hair, and these are often more inexpensive, if you are looking to see if you like wearing a wig before you make a big purchase.

Another good way to help you deal with hair loss is to find a hair stylist who knows how to work with women who are suffering from hair loss. You can easily do a quick internet search to see if any hair loss stylists come up in your area. If all else fails, you can call or visit a local salon and ask if they can suggest any stylists who are good with hair loss. The right stylist may be able to look at the pattern of hair loss and help you to choose a style that helps to conceal it, while still making you feel comfortable and beautiful.

No matter what, the most important thing when it comes to dealing with hair loss as a woman is that you are still beautiful. You are not defined by your hair. You can find hair pieces, wigs and other items like hats to help you feel comfortable in your own skin, but only if you want to. As long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be satisfied with what you see, then that it all that matters.

Many people go to the hospital when they could actually be treated at an urgent care center. Their conditions are not critical, and they could be seen by a regular doctor or nurse practitioner. If you do not want to waste valuable medical resources, find a Cumming urgent care and family medicine center in your neighborhood when you are sick and your family physician is unavailable. Pose many targeted questions if this is your first visit ever. Are you wondering what you should ask? Here are some examples of frequently asked queries.

1. Do You Accept My Insurance Plan?

Usually, urgent care centers accept a wide range of insurance companies. It does not hurt to ask the receptionist for specifics, just in case there are exceptions. You should also inquire if all their services are covered.

2. Can You Help Me Now or Do I Need to Make an Appointment?

Urgent care offices are walk-in facilities. It is a first-come-first-serve situation, unless someone’s life is at stake. Everyone should understand that if a patient suddenly gets a heart attack in the waiting room, the staff will provide medical attention to this individual first.

3. Which Services Do You Provide?

Although urgent care centers are not as well equipped as a hospital, they can offer a wide range of services to people who are sick or have minor medical emergencies. The list usually includes treatment for problems such as sore throats, sinus infections, earaches, minor burns, skin rashes, allergic reactions, back pain, wrist or ankle sprains, and broken bones.

4. Do I Come Back for a Follow-up Visit?

Patients who were treated should follow up with their family physician to ensure that the problem has been resolved. People who do not have a regular doctor can always return to the original urgent care center for a follow-up visit. Do not go elsewhere as they do not have your file.

5. What Happens if an Injury or Condition Is Too Severe?

Sometimes, the severity of a condition does not come to light until an examination is completed. Fractures and broken bones can be detected through X-rays. Only after images were taken can a medical professional determine if you can be treated at the center or need to go to a hospital. A reliable Cumming urgent care provider refers such patients right away to prevent further harm and discomfort.

Rhinestones aren’t often thought of as fashion accessories, but they’re getting more traction in the world of style than you might know about. With tight budgets, people are often at a loss for what they can do to get some more glam in their wardrobes. Rhinestones are a compelling choice because they can jazz up nearly any garment in a big way.

Rhinestones on t-shirts are a good example. Some t-shirt designs include them, but you can add rhinestones yourself with the right creative tools. These turn otherwise plain graphic tees into total eyecatchers, which can make them a great investment for those looking for something a little less casual.

Rhinestone bra straps are something few people expect, but they have their place as a unique accessory. Most consider bra straps troublesome and work to keep them hidden, but rhinestones turn them into a fashion statement. These are easy to find as a product online and at certain retailers, and bra straps are oftentimes replaceable, making them an easy addition that will fit absolutely any wardrobe.

bra strap

Rhinestones on jewelry are maybe the most obvious use, but the point remains that rhinestone accessories are a great thing to have, and they can be acquired on the cheap. They don’t serve the same role as formal jewelry, but they make an easy accessory for any common outfit, which is often exactly what you need.

While they aren’t commonly thought-of, rhinestones make a great staple of a fashion accessory, and can jazz up nearly anything.

Every bride is special, but some brides have needs that aren’t accounted for by every bridal shop. For many, it’s simply a matter of measurement: some dresses just can’t be let out or tucked in enough for some figures, and some proportions defy the conventions that dressmakers always seem to adhere to. It can be frustrating for someone who just wants to look nice on their big day. There are options on the table to make this a painless process, however. It’s just a matter of knowing where to look and what to look for.

brides

First, look online to expand your pool of available stores. Bridal shop listings in magazines and local publications can’t cover every shop that exists in your area, which can make a perfectly good option easy to miss. Sometimes, that option is exactly the one you need. Sites exist online to help you search by region. For instance, you can find bridal shops in Anderson SC at DimitraDesigns.com. By casting the net wider you can improve your odds of finding what you need without trouble, and it goes without saying that this is a major coup for any bride.

With a list in hand, look at reviews. Reviews are always a good idea to check up on the quality of a bridal shop, as with any place you intend to spend a fair amount of money, but reviews have other purposes as well. When someone praises or has bad things to say about a store, it often pertains to how well or how poorly their needs were accounted for. Finding someone who has the same concerns as you do in a review is easy with a nuanced search, and if you can find your answer in an online review you can save yourself the trouble of calling in.

On occasion, you can find bridal shops that are specialized to your particular needs. Shops for plus sizes and taller brides exist as dedicated businesses, for instance. Ultimately, it’s all about acquiring and leveraging information. There’s no need to drive and call all over town looking for what you need when you can perform the whole treasure hunt from the luxury of your own home. This will let you guarantee you get what you need without a struggle, and with some smart comparison shopping, it might even help you save some money. Don’t make yourself drive anywhere looking for your unique requirements before you do your homework!

A furniture store in Gulfport, MS, is part of what some people call a quiet giant in the world of business. You don’t see advertisements and headlines regarding furniture everyday like you do some other things, but you use furniture on a daily basis. Whether it is a table, a chair, a bed, or a couch, each one is found in a home and each one is used pretty heavily every day. Even brand names for furniture aren’t the most important element about it; most people want a piece of furniture for its form and function. Importing furniture from China has become a big deal, and provides many benefits to the consumers and businessmen equally. If you are in the furniture business, it might do you some good to research a little bit about importing furniture from China.

 Wide Variety

Many manufacturers were able to become successful in China when the furniture industry as a whole became popular. When there are several companies all selling the same product, the competition is very strong and the consumers greatly benefit; when it comes to furniture each piece will offer style, quality, and build that is different from the rest even though they all cost the same. There is not just one style produced because the manufactures are producing new furniture every day. If you are looking for quality furniture that is very unique, then China is a good place for you to look.

Cost-Efficient

There aren’t any other countries that can compete with the low cost furniture that originates from China. This is especially true if you order in large quantities. In addition, the export tariffs in China decreases every now and then, which is a great benefit to the businessmen. The cheap labor, wide consumer market, support of foreign businesses, and low cost of export tariffs all make it the most cost-efficient country to work with. China is full of very rich resources and all of the materials needed to make beautiful furniture. As the owner of a furniture store in Gulfport, MS, you would greatly benefit from the cost-efficiency of importing furniture from China.

The world can seem so troublesome, full of pain, suffering, and stressful situations. Everyone seems to be on a steady diet of discomfort. Well, at least everyone who is going somewhere with their lives. People who never go outside their comfort zone have trouble finding their way to new places. Practicing the art of comfort on vacations or at places like a G2O salon in Boston is a natural and important part of life. However, too much of a good thing can lead people to stagnancy. Most people avoid discomfort like the plague. They will do anything in their power to avoid leaving their comfort zone. Maybe the human brain interprets all discomfort as potential harm or death to the body.

Personal Growth Is a Choice

This aversion to discomfort can stop someone from reaching their goals. To go somewhere you’ve never been before, you’re going to have to do something different. Changing things almost always brings about discomfort. But it also brings growth. Even children receive physical growing pains as their body grows and changes. Why is it so difficult to accept and conquer the discomfort that comes with achieving new goals and finding success? Physical growth isn’t optional. It happens no matter how hard a child may dislike the process. Personal growth is a choice.

Hammer Away at Your Weakness

If you have goals that need reaching, make a choice. Choose to embrace your discomfort. Get used to it and relish in the fact that you are going somewhere with your personal goals. A good strategy is to mix in healthy amounts of comfort and discomfort in your life. Spend your whole week working diligently toward your goals. Try new things and embrace the discomfort that will cause. Take the blacksmith’s hammer of discomfort and pound away at your weaknesses until they become malleable. Then forge your weaknesses into strengths with the heat of experience and hammer blows of determination. Once you’ve spent the whole weak hammering away at your weaknesses, you should be pretty exhausted. Recover and prepare for the next week by getting comfortable however you like. Read a book in a hot bath or visit a G2O salon in Boston. You deserve it!

We recently bought a daybed and as such bought a few sets of fitted sheets to go along with it. Yesterday one of the kitties puke on the bed (yikes) and of course it got to be washed. After washing and drying, naturally it got to be folded to be stored right. Well it was a messy task.. lol.. and ended up one big blob. So I found this video by Martha Stewart on how to fold a fitted sheet and gonna try it out in a while. Wish me luck!

Searching for the most perfect children’s furniture can be difficult and confusing, especially if you do not know what you are looking for and where to purchase it. There are numerous St. Petersburg furniture stores that will specialize and carry high-quality pieces of furniture that simply belong in your son or daughter’s room.

The Very Basics

Searching for that perfect piece of children’s furniture can be a challenge, especially if you and your child are not sure what you want. There are a few basics that are a must to create the best room for a young kid. Focus on a bed that is comfortable and roomy enough that your child can easily grow into. This will give them years to use the bed and this will be a piece of furniture that you can splurge on a bit, since it will be used for a longtime. Buy a dresser that clothes can be stored in neatly and properly. Choose one that has enough space to add all varieties of clothes and undergarments. Make sure the drawers slide in and out easily and smoothly. This will allow your child to stash their own clothes without your guidance and help. A nightstand is a great piece to have right next to the bedside. It will give your child a place to keep pictures and special items. They can also be close to a lamp that they can easily switch on and off when needed.

How to Decorate

Besides a bed, dressers, and a nightstand, try adding other items that can give the room personality and excitement. This may include a television with an appropriate stand to sit it on, and shelving units that can hold all of your kid’s books, stuffed animals, and other cherished belongings that they cannot part with. This will keep the room organized, tidy, and looking clean.

All the Necessities

St. Petersburg furniture stores will carry practical and high-quality items that you will be looking for when you are ready to give your child’s room a complete face-lift and turn it into a room that both you and your child loves.

If you are tired of your dull- and drab-looking white walls that surround the interior of your home, call a company that specializes in house painting in Castle Rock, so you can have bright and vibrant looking walls to put a smile on your face each and every day.

A Bright Color

Looking at white walls on a daily basis can be depressing and may make you want to cry. It is time that you turn over a new leaf and choose some color to add brightness and pizazz to your home. You don’t have to go for red or orange, but even a rich brown or a warm tan can add some dimension and depth to what you thought was small and enclosed. Visit your local paint store to get samples of various colors that catch your eye. If you are thinking that a color from the tan family will go well with your furniture, carpets, and décor, choose various shade samples to take home with you to compare with your belongings. What color you may have in your mind may be very different than what it looks like on the paint sample strip. You can even buy a pot of color to paint on your wall to give you the exact look that you are going to get in light and dark spaces.

Funky and Fresh

Even though you have lived with stark white walls forever, you may be feeling a little timid and nervous to choose a color that is bold and exciting. Maybe pick a vibrant color for a smaller room in your home, such as the laundry room or your child’s room. This will give you time to determine if you like viewing the color every day or if it makes your belly turn and cringe. Give it a chance and make your decision after some time has passed.

A Splash of Color

Be brave and bold when choosing house painting in Castle Rock to give your walls a great makeover. Start slow, but do not be afraid to make a move with hot hues or shades exploding on the surfaces of your plain walls.

Are you looking for dates but you simply cannot find the confidence to present yourself with your best foot forward? Well, most likely your problem is not your foot – it is your face! No, we’re not insulting you; we’re just letting you know something that you probably already know: If you do not have a face that is clear of acne, dirt, oil and the unfortunate markings that come from those conditions, you may have a more difficult time than most in getting into those exclusive social circles!

Fear not – there are many ways that you can help your situation. You must begin by taking care of your face with more vigor than ever before. Having acne does not mean that you have a bad face; it simply means that you have a more delicate one. You will need to change some of your habits to give your face its best chance to shine.

For one, you will have to wash your face more often than other people. Whenever you sweat or exercise, you should carry around a wet antibacterial cloth to wipe your face. This will help get rid of the oil and dirt that tend to clump up on the face in times of activity and stress.

Once you have washed your face, you will need to replace the moisture that you have taken off of it. Jenu has many products, like the JeNu Anti-Aging Active Youth System, that will be able to help you replace the nutrients and vitamins that need to remain in your face for it to be healthy!

Pest control in New York City is, unfortunately, often an essential part of living in the Big Apple. While many of the newer buildings are better at keeping rodents and insects out, the older buildings have had years of dealing with the onslaught of these unwanted tenants. And when it comes to unwanted tenants, mice may be the most hated of them all. Mice are insidious creatures, working their way into walls and floors and ceilings, eating their way through wood and plaster and wire, and leaving a trail of excrement wherever they go. Mice are very difficult to exterminate because of their fast rate of reproduction, and they can be extremely hazardous to health.

Weapons to Use against Mice

The following list contains some of the tools you can use to exterminate or eradicate mice from your home or apartment:

  1. Cats: Some cats are really good mousers, others aren’t. If you can find a cat adept at catching mice, you have got yourself a real winner. One idea is to pick up a stray that has been fending for itself; there are potential problems with this (socialization or disease) but a cat used to catching mice is likely to retain the hunting skills. Be aware that cats that catch and eat mice should be wormed often.
  2. Traps: This is a broad category, ranging from the old fashioned snap traps that you see on vintage cartoons to the new electrical “zap traps” that kill a rodent with a burst of electrons. Snap traps are inexpensive and effective, though you do have to be careful where you place them so that children or pets do not inadvertently set off the trap. The same goes for glue traps, which capture a rodent with a gluey floor. The difference is that snap traps usually kill the rodent instantly (perhaps leaving a small mess) while glue traps often leave the rodent alive so that you have to dispose of a mouse that doesn’t know it’s dead yet. Electrical traps are more humane, in that they kill instantly, and also have the advantage of zero mess and easy disposal. Electrical traps are also reusable. Lastly, there are traps which secure the rodent in a box so that you can set it free into the wild. While these traps seem the most humane, you have to be careful not to let the rodent out too close to your house or it will find its way back.
  3. Poison: Poison is the ultimate way of getting rid of rodents; it is effective and devastating on a rodent population. The upside is that it is cheap and effective. The downside is that it is, well, poisonous. Children or animals ingesting the stuff may get very sick or die. There are poison traps that only allow small rodents space enough to enter and ingest, and these may be your best bet, but they are still best placed where little fingers and claws can’t reach.

Pest control in New York City is a challenge, and you may wish to have a professional come in and fix the problem for you. Once you have rid yourself of mice, try to stop up any hole where a mouse can get into the house. While this may seem impossible, it is the only way to permanently rid yourself of the creatures.

I’ve always loved those modern chandeliers that hangs over huge and grand staircases, you know the ones that lead you to some grand ball or grand living spaces? The only grand staircases that I had either walk down or up from are hotels ones and those are quite majestic too. Wished I had take taken a clearer picture of this one that I took from Majestic Hotel KL.

The roof of your home offers you and your belongings the ultimate protection from the natural elements that surround it. Without your roof, your furniture and curtains would become faded from the sun, your appliances would be ruined from rain and/or snow, and your electricity bill would skyrocket in trying to regulate your home’s internal temperature. Your roof wasn’t just built to make your house look complete. Your roof serves several vital functions. However, if it becomes damaged, it could compromise its effectiveness. Keeping your roof in its best condition is important. If you notice any problems, Salt Lake City roof repair professionals can pinpoint the problem and fix it quickly and efficiently.

Act Early and Often

Procrastinating calling a roof repair company could be disastrous. In the roofing world, small problems can quickly transform into big problems. If you act right away when you suspect an issue, you could save yourself a lot of money and headache. Unfortunately in some cases, by the time you realize there is a problem, it has already become bigger than if you would have discovered it immediately. Most people don’t regularly analyze their ceiling or climb on their roof to inspect it. Even if they did, they probably wouldn’t know what to look for. Problems can be prevented with regular, professional inspections. You don’t need to wait until you know you need a repair or until you are buying a home. You can hire experts at any time to do an inspection. They are trained to look for weaknesses and issues that could lead to a problem down the road.

Replacement

If your roof turns out to be beyond repair, or if it’s old, choose Salt Lake City roof repair experts that can also replace your roof completely. Hiring someone that only does repairs could lead to the need for a different company. It makes sense to hire an all-service company from the beginning. Don’t wait until a leak is dripping onto your favorite sofa or soaking your carpet; call a roofing expert today to see what kind of shape your roof is in.

kristinMichellePart of getting ahead as a professional photographer is having experience. Perhaps the best way to showcase your experience is to set up a photo portfolio. You can see kristinmichellephotography.com for an idea of what an online portfolio or gallery looks like. Potential customers can see firsthand what you’ve produced and get a taste of your work. You will definitely look more professional and put together when you have a portfolio to display to your clients. They will appreciate knowing what you can do for them and draw from past photographs to get an idea of what they want in a session.

Format

You may wonder where and how you’ll display your photos. You may want to use a hard binder, book, or case to bring to appointments and to set up in your office. Books have a really professional and polished look to them. You can find photography books at art stores, at office supply stores, and from suppliers of photo archive materials. Purchase a plain black book with black pages to keep it simple and to allow the photographs to “pop.” Another option is to buy a case that resembles a lightweight case. This choice is suitable for larger photos since cases can be 5 by 4 feet in size. If you want to go cheaper or need a temporary option, consider using a binder and placing photos in sheet protectors. In addition to a hard copy, it would be wise to have an electronic format for your portfolio. You can convert your photos into digital files and compile them on a portable storage device or upload them online.

Photos to Pick

So which photographs should you show off? Think about your target audience and cater to them. For instance, if you want to do wedding photography, put up your shots from weddings you’ve worked at. It’s usually best to go with a theme to show uniformity. Ten to 15 photos should suffice. Include what you believe to be your best and most impressive pieces. Showcase any unique angles or shots your customers may appreciate. Offer a variety of photos to show versatility. Feature black and white, sepia, colored, and other tones. Incorporate different-sized photos into your portfolio. Spare no expenses and print or display these photos in the best resolution and print settings. For more ideas, go to kristinmichellephotography.com.

Are you searching for a Greenwood dentist to assist in caring for your oral health? Finding a dentist can be a challenging process for a lot of people. If you have a variety of ages in your family, you should search for a family dentist. They can provide care for all age groups. If you have certain needs like cosmetic dentistry, find a person that has the right training and specialty in this area. Michael Arnold, DDS can provide you with the right experience you need to improve your oral health.

Finding the Right Dentist

As you begin your search for a great dentist, it helps to start by reviewing the dentist’s reputation. Do their patients recommend them? Do they appreciate their services? Reading reviews is a great place to start. You should also check on the education and overall experience of the dentist. How long have they been practicing? Do they have an established practice that is well respected in the area?

Insurance

It is important that you make sure the dentist does accept your insurance. Insurance can help to reduce the amount you need to pay. The insurance plans will normally pay for all preventative treatments. This will include the costs of your yearly examination and cleaning. They will also pay for x-rays once a year. Contact your insurance provider to obtain a list of approved dentists in the area.

Services

What services can the dentist provide? Will they provide treatments for everyone in your family? Ask them for a cost estimate of the different services. This will help you plan for certain expenses, like the cost of dental implants. A quality dentist will provide you with a dental treatment plan for your mouth. This may include future needs like orthodontic treatments and other things. Does the dentist provide emergency services? What happens if you have a cracked tooth in the middle of the night? Do they have a phone number to contact for help?

Schedule a Consultation

To make sure you are hiring the best Greenwood dentist, schedule a consultation. This is a great way to narrow down your list as you can get an idea of their personality and if you like the staff. Michael Arnold DDS, and his friendly staff are happy to answer all your dental questions.

Owning at least one pair of comfortable shoes is a must for women of all ages. As you travel by foot throughout the day, the motion from walking, running and jumping affects your musculoskeletal system. If you consistently wear shoes that do not properly support your ankles, feet and knees, you can potentially suffer injuries to the muscle tissues as a result of improperly supported footwear. The severity of certain types of injuries may require an individual to undergo surgery. As you continue your activities throughout the day, you will encounter different levels of terrain, especially outdoors. Whether you are running or walking slowly, your muscles are affected by the rigidity of ground’s surface. Shoes that do not incorporate a certain amount of comfort will weigh heavily on the sole of your feet overtime. It is beneficial to wear shoes that provide an appropriate amount of cushion to protect your muscles against certain inflammatory conditions of the muscles, such as Achilles tendinitis, Plantar fasciitis or Runner’s knee. When you invest in comfortable shoes for women, you will immediately notice the difference between shoes that provide proper support and shoes that do not provide suitable cushion to the sole of your feet. You will find a wide variety of comfortable shoes at SchulerShoes.com for different activities and seasons.

A few new trends are revealing themselves in the area of mens dress shirts. Many men who wear them everyday are looking for a fresh dose of style. Here are some of those popular trends. Patterns Checks and plaid patterns are becoming the preference of lots of men this season. If a man wears a dark-colored blazer, a dress shirt featuring a pattern can really spice up the ensemble. It’s an outfit that has a lot of style and yet it’s still business-like. Furthermore, with a pattern dress shirt, a man is able to coordinate it with a tie. For instance, if the dress shirt has blue in its pattern, a blue tie can be an appealing addition to the outfit. Unique Cuffs Lots of men are choosing a dress shirt with unique cuffs. French cuffs are one example. They give a dress shirt an extra element of style. The shirt can be worn alone or with a blazer. Either way, this sort of dress shirt always shows a man in his most appealing light. A Detailed Collar This is another trend that men are really getting into. It looks like a traditional dress shirt in a solid color, but the collar has a particular pattern that is echoed on the cuffs of the shirt. This subtle detail reveals the care a man takes in the way he presents himself. Though this is a small detail, it gives the classic dress shirt additional elegance.

lespaul guitar

Once upon a time, musicians to me was just to accompany the singer but now ever since I married a musician, I tend to appreciate them more. Yes, a singer can sound great without musicians and can even sing “minus one” but if there was a guitarist alongside with him with an epiphone les paul standard for instance, the singer is going to sound so much better for sure!

My favorite shoe is worn out for sure. The sole has flapped open and I doubt there is any way to salvage it. I’ve tried putting on some shoe glue and holding it down with destaco clamp though and hope that works. If it doesn’t.. well time to let it rest in peace then. Thank you shoe.. you have served me well 🙂

I’m sure you have been to at least one wedding ceremony in your life. Whether it’s a relative, a friend or even your own, it must be filled with lots of traditional things that I am sure you are even aware where it originates from.

I mean why do western brides wear white? What the does ring signify? Why must there be that “something new, something old, something borrowed and something blue” thingy? Why is it the bride must be carried across the threshold? For the Chinese wedding ceremony, why is red the color of choice? What is the tea ceremony and why must they do it?  Well if you look a the infographics below, there might be some information below that can shed some light and give you answers to the questions. In fact, you will also find out why traditional Japanese brides are painted pure white for the ceremony and why during the San-san-kudo, 3 sips of sake are taken from three different sake cups. Wanna know why Russian bride and groom are greeted with bread and salt during the ceremony? You can find the answer below as well.

Wedding traditions always fascinate me and as long as they don’t burden the newly married couple with unnecessary debt and problems as they go on the experience the marriage itself, then it’s fine with me 🙂

We all know that presentation is part of a great meal. That is why if you lack creativity like me in the food decor department, the best thing to get is great looking dinnerware and a great looking table setup and your problem is somewhat solved unless of course your cooking is less to desired. If that is the case, may I suggest takeout? lol!

Anyway, if your cooking is mediocre, then perhaps these great looking summer dinnerware might just be consolation perhaps?

I just finished printing two sets of business cards for myself. One is for business contacts with my real name and one for people I meet while on blogging social events. You might wonder why two different sets? Well I go by by nickname when I blog and so if I were to use my real name, no one will know it’s me when they come and visit my blog and well I need my real name for business contacts and potential sponsors right? So there’s my reasons 🙂

Good thing the cards are not not expensive to print as there’s a local label printing company nearby.

Currently I have to keep some in the store simply because there is no space for them in the kitchen cabinets. I also would love one of these Full extension drawer slides installed in my cabinets. I mean what woman would not fall in love with these right? Oh how neat and tidy would pots and pans will be in the cabinet and one look you’ll know which one you want to use… Ah.. kitchen heaven..

Have I blogged lately how my bifocal specs is giving me grief? Well let it be on the record now that I am hating my bifocal specs. I mean the idea is great and all that it will enabled me to read stuff without needing to push my specs down my nose but it’s not really doing that well.

Firstly it is always out of alignment which means I need to visit my optician at least once a month to get it realigned so that my focal point remained correct and so I can actually read with the glasses. Second, if I don’t get it aligned and the focal point corrected, it is worst than wearing normal glasses coz then even when I push it to the edge of nose my vision is still not clear which then totally defeats me paying RM1750 for the pair of bifocal right? Third, even with the specs aligned properly and my focal point in place, I still need to move my head about to find the perfect vision to read anything.. Argh.. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!

RayBan.RB2132Wayfarer.7675Anyway, Azwaj asked me if making a pair with my regular optician in Singapore would make a difference. To be honest, I really don’t know. I don’t want to spend another thousand bucks or so for another pair that will give me the same grief (might as well buy me a pair of ray ban rb2132 instead) but then I won’t know unless I try right?

What do you think?

There is an ad in Singapore about the variety of shows that one television channel has to offer, much like the variety of fashion wear that a woman can have. The ad basically shows two panes, the left pane showing a man’s feet and the right one showing a woman’s feet. It then shows the days of week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.. and each day the man was wearing the same style shoe with pants while the woman was seen sporting an open toe shoe with pencil skirt on Monday, platform shoes with pants on Tuesday, maxi dress with wedges on Wednesday etc etc..

How awesome is it to be a woman right? We have so many styles to choose from that we can be fashionable and stylish each day of the year when a man can basically wear the same style, same color and even the same outfit each day and no one would be the wiser.. lol!

maxi

Anyway, see the image I posted above of the Side Split Stripe Print Maxi , well you can get this look at Millers for only $10. Yeap it was going for $48.95 but now it’s only $10. There are lots of sale going on at the site so be sure to check them out ok. Too bad they don’t deliver internationally or else for sure my shopping bag will be full.. lol!

I cooked today.. haha.. and after quite a while too. I reckon since I got these ginormous prawns from Sarawak, I might as well make sure they cook well and what better way than to do it myself right? Well the cooking part of course is another story to be told in my food blog.

For this entry I want to talk about my range. Well actually not mine by Azwaj rather. He got it even before he married me and it is still working!… Really long life.. lol.. I so long to have one of those really fancy ranges you know.. the kind that I see on the discount appliances store but since the existing one is still working (thank goodness too), I don’t think it is wise to get a new one. After all, the savings from buying a new range can go towards my laptop funds perhaps.. hahah

So I was in Kuching, Sarawak last week and I guess the same as what most woman would do.. I came back with some shopping. I didn’t go all out as I only brought a bagpack with me (thank goodness) and since I had already ordered the must buy stuff in Sarawak like the “Kek Lapis” and the “Ikan Masin Terubuk” I knew I won’t have enough hands to carry them all. So.. that being said, I only bought a nice blouse that I saw at the local market, Kubah Ria, a beautiful bracelet as shown below from the Sarawak Cultural Village and a guitar shaped keychain for A.. I’ve always been more of a handbag than a shoe person. I can’t go by the departmental store and not check out their latest handbag collection. However I don’t go for the branded ones or the extremely expensive one. My motto is the less expensive, the more value for money it is as I can just discard it easily when it gets worn out or when I get tired of it. So in my mind, I can buy as many as I like because it cost a fraction of the branded ones that most ladies will go for.

Recently though I found that I am shopping for shoes more than handbag. On my last trip back to Singapore in February, I bought a pair of bling bling flats then on my latest trip in March, I bought two pairs of the same style of flats but in different color. Mind you, they were extremely cheap and I reckon I would always need shoes right? So I thought I will buy two, leave one pair in Singapore for my use there and bring the other pair back home to wear in KL.

I know I should buy more variety to add to my collection like boots ( I love the one shown here) or open-toe shoes but I find I am loving flats nowadays as they are so comfy!.. but then again, did I mention how much I love this pair? lol!

I love my Halogen oven but I am still not sure if I can use my casserole cookware in it. I mean it’s the halogen oven is like a convection oven only it is supposed to speed cooking up and make it taste better. I wonder if it would help if I used ceramic insulators for instance or any insulators for that matter. I am so worried that it might explode in the oven.. Then I would not only destroy the cookware but my lovely oven as well 🙁

I don’t normally used foundation as sometimes I feel like my face becomes more oily than it usually is. I also don’t like that my nose becomes extra oily making me feel like I need to touch up all the time. Having said that I do love the way my face looks polished with foundation though.. lol..

I’ve recently heard about all the buzz around BB cream and decided to give it a try one day. I chose a reputable brand and all I can say is that I am loving the way it feels on my skin. It gives me the polished look minus the greasy feeling and the 50SPF coverage that is given by the BB Cream of my choice, makes it the best cream for me right now. . I found my face is less oily although I have been out the whole day and I don’t feel like I need to touch up all the time.

concealerAnyway, although the BB cream that I am using makes my pores smaller and makes the face looks more polished, I must admit that I think I need to look for a good concealer (I heard napoleon perdis is good) as there are some blemishes that needs extra coverage. Ahh.. the price of vanity… lol!

jacket

When I was a nine to five office personnel, I love wearing jackets and cardigans. I found I can be sporting a casual top for a hot weather but the moment I put on my jacket or cardigan, I am ready to face the corporate world. Of course shorts like the one shown here is a no no for the office but throw a quick slip skirt over it and you are set for that meeting. Don’t you agree?

I don’t use my jackets as often as I would like to nowadays as  I don’t attend a lot of meetings as most of my clients are overseas and we just use Skype as our mode of communication, . Hubby said it’s ok though to wear it at home if I wanted to ..lol (ya he’s funny that way..)

Anyway, I simply love this jacket that this model is wearing. It’s a classic cut with nice soft lapels and the length will correct most figure flaws. It can look formal with a pencil skirt or nicely cut pants or with this sexy shorts, you look awesome enough for a day out shopping or outing with some friends during the weekends! Love it!

One of my aunt just got diagnosed with breast cancer and since there is a history of breast cancer in my family, I want to make sure I am free of it and if I do have it then I get diagnosed earlier than later. So I have made an appointment for a mammogram on my next trip back to Singapore. My mom had done hers and she said it was a piece of cake with no pain involved so I reckon I don’t have anything to worry about .

Having said that, here are the 12 signs of breast cancer than you can look out. If you think you have any of the signs, consult your doctor immediately!.

I just recently designed and made my business cards (FINALLY!..lol). It’s simple yet informative and I love it! So now when I go to events, I can give them out as oppose to telling them I ran out (totally untrue since I don’t have in the first place).

Anyway, next I am planning to make some form of wholesale catalogs to showcase my work but I reckon not so soon coz as it is, I am already drowning with work and not enjoying life enough.

Have a great weekend all!

I don’t use a lot of makeup. The only makeup I use daily are eyeliner and lipstick. However when I do go out for special occasion or when I need that extra boost of confidence, I do tend to go all out. From foundation to blusher, from eye-shadow to even lip liner. Yeap, like I say, I go all out to look polished and “gorgeous”..lol..

Anyway, I recently found out about airbrushing makeup and I must say I am extremely curious to find out how it works. The website gave full instruction on how to use the gadget to apply foundation and blusher (me being a gadget girl, simply loves that) and pro tips on how to achieve the look you want. There is a Signature Started Kit as shown below and you can choose three items, namely foundation, highlighter and blusher for USD199.  My interest is peaked.

Anyway, I really would love to see a live demo and so I looked around for a video. I found this one and I was like.. WOW!! It’s literally airbrushing your makeup onto your face. I am really impressed though I reckon I would need a lot of practice so as not to look like a clown right? hahahha
