I have a medium size kitchen. Not too big neither is it too small. However I do need extra storage space for my pots and pans as I do have lots of them. Currently I have to keep some in the store simply because there is no space for them in the kitchen cabinets. I also would love one of these Full extension drawer slides installed in my cabinets. I mean what woman would not fall in love with these right? Oh how neat and tidy would pots and pans will be in the cabinet and one look you’ll know which one you want to use… Ah.. kitchen heaven..

Have I blogged lately how my bifocal specs is giving me grief? Well let it be on the record now that I am hating my bifocal specs. I mean the idea is great and all that it will enabled me to read stuff without needing to push my specs down my nose but it’s not really doing that well.

Firstly it is always out of alignment which means I need to visit my optician at least once a month to get it realigned so that my focal point remained correct and so I can actually read with the glasses. Second, if I don’t get it aligned and the focal point corrected, it is worst than wearing normal glasses coz then even when I push it to the edge of nose my vision is still not clear which then totally defeats me paying RM1750 for the pair of bifocal right? Third, even with the specs aligned properly and my focal point in place, I still need to move my head about to find the perfect vision to read anything.. Argh.. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!

RayBan.RB2132Wayfarer.7675Anyway, Azwaj asked me if making a pair with my regular optician in Singapore would make a difference. To be honest, I really don’t know. I don’t want to spend another thousand bucks or so for another pair that will give me the same grief (might as well buy me a pair of ray ban rb2132 instead) but then I won’t know unless I try right?

What do you think?

There is an ad in Singapore about the variety of shows that one television channel has to offer, much like the variety of fashion wear that a woman can have. The ad basically shows two panes, the left pane showing a man’s feet and the right one showing a woman’s feet. It then shows the days of week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.. and each day the man was wearing the same style shoe with pants while the woman was seen sporting an open toe shoe with pencil skirt on Monday, platform shoes with pants on Tuesday, maxi dress with wedges on Wednesday etc etc..

How awesome is it to be a woman right? We have so many styles to choose from that we can be fashionable and stylish each day of the year when a man can basically wear the same style, same color and even the same outfit each day and no one would be the wiser.. lol!

Anyway, see the image I posted above of the Side Split Stripe Print Maxi , well you can get this look at Millers for only $10. Yeap it was going for $48.95 but now it’s only $10. There are lots of sale going on at the site so be sure to check them out ok. Too bad they don’t deliver internationally or else for sure my shopping bag will be full.. lol!

I found this on FaceBook and I thought.. what a genius way to recycle old bottle cap. It’s pretty easy to do and we all know how sturdy those bottle caps can be right?

So no rubber band? No problem! Try it out and let me know what you think!

I cooked today.. haha.. and after quite a while too. I reckon since I got these ginormous prawns from Sarawak, I might as well make sure they cook well and what better way than to do it myself right? Well the cooking part of course is another story to be told in my food blog.

For this entry I want to talk about my range. Well actually not mine by Azwaj rather. He got it even before he married me and it is still working!… Really long life.. lol.. I so long to have one of those really fancy ranges you know.. the kind that I see on the discount appliances store but since the existing one is still working (thank goodness too), I don’t think it is wise to get a new one. After all, the savings from buying a new range can go towards my laptop funds perhaps.. hahah

So I was in Kuching, Sarawak last week and I guess the same as what most woman would do.. I came back with some shopping. I didn’t go all out as I only brought a bagpack with me (thank goodness) and since I had already ordered the must buy stuff in Sarawak like the “Kek Lapis” and the “Ikan Masin Terubuk” I knew I won’t have enough hands to carry them all. So.. that being said, I only bought a nice blouse that I saw at the local market, Kubah Ria, a beautiful bracelet as shown below from the Sarawak Cultural Village and a guitar shaped keychain for A.. OMGosh how disciplined right? I’m so proud of myself.. lol!

I’ve always been more of a handbag than a shoe person. I can’t go by the departmental store and not check out their latest handbag collection. However I don’t go for the branded ones or the extremely expensive one. My motto is the less expensive, the more value for money it is as I can just discard it easily when it gets worn out or when I get tired of it. So in my mind, I can buy as many as I like because it cost a fraction of the branded ones that most ladies will go for.

Recently though I found that I am shopping for shoes more than handbag. On my last trip back to Singapore in February, I bought a pair of bling bling flats then on my latest trip in March, I bought two pairs of the same style of flats but in different color. Mind you, they were extremely cheap and I reckon I would always need shoes right? So I thought I will buy two, leave one pair in Singapore for my use there and bring the other pair back home to wear in KL.

I know I should buy more variety to add to my collection like boots ( I love the one shown here) or open-toe shoes but I find I am loving flats nowadays as they are so comfy!.. but then again, did I mention how much I love this pair? lol!
