Home Remedies for Urinary Tract Infection

If you never had one of these, then you best thank you lucky stars coz it seems it is very common in women then it is in men. I know because I had it a few times already. If you develop a UTI, you’re likely to feel a pain or a burning sensation when urinating (doctors refer to this as dysuria), a need to urinate often and pain in the lower abdomen (tummy). The most recent that I had it was a month ago and I totally blame it on the water shutdown at my condo (till now we don’t know why there was no water supply suddenly). Anyway, this time I decided to try some home remedies before going to the visit my doctor.

I read somewhere online that cranberry juice (or I think cranberry tablets like the one you can find at merz apothecary), pineapple (which I love) and a high dose of vitamin C would do the trick, though it is recommended that you see your doctor if the condition persist after two days as it might affect the kidneys. So.. I up my dosage of vitamins, taking in 2000mg of soluble vitamins C, once in the morning and once at night. I also took pineapple as snacks and drank plenty of water. Naturally you know I visited the bathroom numerous times that day and night. Lol!

Oh in between all that I also took Ural that I bought from the pharmacy and that really did the helped too coz in two days I was good as new again! So next time you have this awful infection, try this home remedies and let me know ok!

Shop Online.. Ain't that the Life.

I have been shopping online for much stuff that I am losing track of what I ordered and when it will arrive. Lol! But let me tell you something.. I am loving it. I am even infecting Azwaj with it coz he bought some guitar strings online too. He wanted to get them from musician’s friend but they don’t deliver to Malaysia so he had to settle at another place and thank goodness coz they have the same stuff that he wanted.

So yeay for shopping at the comfort of our own home and letting the fingers do all the ordering!

Shopping for Raya

I normally don’t shop for Raya but this year I may need to get some table linens. I heard there are some nice ones at Premier Table Linens and I am letting my fingers do the work and click on this site to see if I can find anything that suits my taste.

Missing Stuff

One of the things I like about moving house is when I find my so called missing stuff. For instance, I found my bright and bold blouse that used to be my favorite but then disappeared when I moved to Malaysia. I found some new accessories that I bought but never gotten a chance to use because it got stuck at the corner of my drawer (messy me.. lol).

Anyway, moral of the story, move every 4 years and you’ll find all your missing stuff… hahahah..

Nice Things That I Need To Forego

One of the things that you have to forego when you have furkids are home decor stuff that falls off the corner and fall on the floor. Things like this round crinkle taffeta table cover. Yes I am loving the bright pink color that would probably looks awesome in some corner of my living room with a nice flower arrangement on top. However, you know what, the moment the kitties play underneath that table and start playing with the cover.. well, all I can say is, it’s a disaster waiting to happen.. lol!

My New Blouse

I bought my first clothing item Online last year but it didn’t fit me well. Lucky for me the company accepts returns for either exchange or refunds. I decided to get get an exchange instead though never really found anything I like at the store after that. Anyway, last Thursday, I found a top that I really liked and it came with the correct size for me.. so without waiting any further, I contacted the sales person and asked her to proceed with the exchange.

I understand the item shipped on Friday and so it should arrive later today. Yeay! I can’t wait!
