If there is one thing I hate more than anything in the world is to peel off the end of a tape roll after it has been stored for some time. I mean it can get pretty gluey and when it tears.. oh my goodness, it can go on and on and on. Good thing I found this hack and it’s so easy, you just need to put a paper click at the edge after you use it, just like the image below. You can use this trick for any tape. From cellophane tape to masking tape to console tape, you’d be sure to never run a tear on those tape again.

What is Fibracell. Nope it is not something that has to do with the female body, though it does sound like one right?

According to wwbw.com: “Fibracell is a composite of aerospace materials specially designed to produce a reed that effectively mimics a cane reed. Sound absorbing Kevlar fibers are held in a light rosin to produce the reed. From there, an exact and consistent production process is enacted. Each reed is precisely trimmed ensuring that there will not be differences from reed to reed.”

So if you are looking for reeds or clarinet, make sure you get one that is made from Fibracell.

I love going through Musician’s Friend website with Azwaj. I always learn new things about the music world… and they always seems to have great offer that somehow makes everything affordable.. (dangerous to the wallet..lol)

Anyway, I found a cool melodyne plugin at Musicians Friend that I think might be useful for Azwaj and his latest project but I seriously don’t know what it does. Got to wait for him to wake up and find out..

Have a great weekend all!

Plastic-Surgeon-Washington-DCIf you ask anyone, there is something about their body that they would like to change. There are parts of your body that you might want to tighten or lift and you notice those parts of your body every time you look in the mirror. This causes a lot of self-confidence issues in people. I’ve always been more of a handbag than a shoe person. I can’t go by the departmental store and not check out their latest handbag collection. However I don’t go for the branded ones or the extremely expensive one. My motto is the less expensive, the more value for money it is as I can just discard it easily when it gets worn out or when I get tired of it. So in my mind, I can buy as many as I like because it cost a fraction of the branded ones that most ladies will go for.

Recently though I found that I am shopping for shoes more than handbag. On my last trip back to Singapore in February, I bought a pair of bling bling flats then on my latest trip in March, I bought two pairs of the same style of flats but in different color. Mind you, they were extremely cheap and I reckon I would always need shoes right? So I thought I will buy two, leave one pair in Singapore for my use there and bring the other pair back home to wear in KL.

I know I should buy more variety to add to my collection like boots ( I love the one shown here) or open-toe shoes but I find I am loving flats nowadays as they are so comfy!.. but then again, did I mention how much I love this pair? lol!

I got a pair of the open toe house slippers for Christmas a couple years ago and I must say, these are the cutest and most comfortable slippers I have ever owned. I tend to go barefoot a lot and my heels are starting to show the effects of that, so my mom got me a pair of these to stop me from going outside without shoes. The rubber sole is perfect for indoor and outdoor use and I’ve actually stopped going barefoot, even in the house! The thongs are durable and stand up nicely to washing. After over 2 years of daily wear and repeated washings, these slippers still look like new.

It was a struggle to wear regular shoes in public because I loved how cute and comfortable they are. I have bought more Dearfoam slippers as gifts for other family members and I like the style choices available. Other women don’t like things between their toes, so I got them the open toe slippers and they love them! Such an easy gift for the ladies in my life who are usually hard to buy for. Who wouldn’t love a pair of pillowy softness for their tired feet? I haven’t met anyone like that yet. Great job Dearfoam! I am a customer for life.
