The Musician Husband

So A is jamming again and I’ve never seen him happier.. and when my man is happy.. I’m happy for sure. All his “gadgets” are out and I know he’s looking to DIY some “pedal train” thingy. The last thing he DIY was his guitar wardrobe so I look forward to seeing what he come up with this time.

Shop Online.. Ain't that the Life.

I have been shopping online for much stuff that I am losing track of what I ordered and when it will arrive. Lol! But let me tell you something.. I am loving it. I am even infecting Azwaj with it coz he bought some guitar strings online too. He wanted to get them from musician’s friend but they don’t deliver to Malaysia so he had to settle at another place and thank goodness coz they have the same stuff that he wanted.

So yeay for shopping at the comfort of our own home and letting the fingers do all the ordering!

Missing Stuff

One of the things I like about moving house is when I find my so called missing stuff. For instance, I found my bright and bold blouse that used to be my favorite but then disappeared when I moved to Malaysia. I found some new accessories that I bought but never gotten a chance to use because it got stuck at the corner of my drawer (messy me.. lol).

Anyway, moral of the story, move every 4 years and you’ll find all your missing stuff… hahahah..

Shout to the World

At times I just want to shut up and be as quiet as possible but sometimes I want to shout to the world and when that happens I wished I had the great audix om2 microphone in hand so everyone can hear me loud and clear and understand what I am feeling inside though sometimes I don’t even understand.

Ah the dilemma… I just don’t know what to do sometimes…

Hand in Hand

Once upon a time, musicians to me was just to accompany the singer but now ever since I married a musician, I tend to appreciate them more. Yes, a singer can sound great without musicians and can even sing “minus one” but if there was a guitarist alongside with him with an epiphone les paul standard for instance, the singer is going to sound so much better for sure!

Sound Better With a Tuner

My dearest Azwaj has a great ear and most often than not, he tunes his guitars without needing any tuner whatsoever and it still sounds great. However, if you are a beginner and you are looking for a tuner, then why not try the exceptional polytune mini at guitar center so that your guitar will always be in tune and you will always sound great!

Rest in Peace Shoe

My favorite shoe is worn out for sure. The sole has flapped open and I doubt there is any way to salvage it. I’ve tried putting on some shoe glue and holding it down with destaco clamp though and hope that works. If it doesn’t.. well time to let it rest in peace then. Thank you shoe.. you have served me well 🙂

Business Card: Done!

I just recently designed and made my business cards (FINALLY!..lol). It’s simple yet informative and I love it! So now when I go to events, I can give them out as oppose to telling them I ran out (totally untrue since I don’t have in the first place).

Anyway, next I am planning to make some form of wholesale catalogs to showcase my work but I reckon not so soon coz as it is, I am already drowning with work and not enjoying life enough.

Learning a Musical Instrument

When I was in primary three, our music teacher told us that all of us are required to learn to play a musical instrument. We thought we could choose our instrument but as it turned out the teacher already selected one for us. It was the harmonica. Now of course we didn’t need to buy them from harmonicas guitar center, but we still need to get a specific kind. In the end, since lots of parents were complaining they couldn’t find the same one as the teacher wanted, we ended up asking the teacher to order for us.

What happened to my harmonica? I really don’t know but I do know if you give me harmonica now, I couldn’t play it even to save my life. Lol!
