What is Fibracell. Nope it is not something that has to do with the female body, though it does sound like one right?

According to wwbw.com: “Fibracell is a composite of aerospace materials specially designed to produce a reed that effectively mimics a cane reed. Sound absorbing Kevlar fibers are held in a light rosin to produce the reed. From there, an exact and consistent production process is enacted. Each reed is precisely trimmed ensuring that there will not be differences from reed to reed.”

So if you are looking for reeds or clarinet, make sure you get one that is made from Fibracell.

cabins on broken bow lake

If you’re trying to decide where to go on your next trip, you may be weighing the options based on how many free activities there are at the destination. If you’re going to be taking a trip to The Windy City, there’s a ton of entertainment for budget travelers. Chicago is full of adventure, but even better is that there are a bunch of totally free ways to stay busy.

1. Stop by Skoki Northside Sculpture Park and challenge yourself to find all of the sculptures within just one afternoon.

2. Check out the latest art exhibit or performance at the Chicago Cultural Center. Visit their website to see the latest about what’s going on.

3. The Cultural Center also hosts Weird Fridays, which is where you can meet people, dance and listen to various deejays throughout the month. Pick a Friday that will include your favorite music genre. If you’re considering moving to Chicago or you’ve recently relocated there, this is a great way to meet new people.

4. The Summer Dance in Grant Park is a great place to brush up on your moves. Not only will you learn how to dance, but you can enjoy live music, too. Want a different kind of vacation? Check out cabins on Broken Bow Lake if you’re after some solitude.

5. During the springtime, the Sharing Color Art Exhibit celebrates decades of this free painting art exhibit. It’s open to children of all ages, making it a great option for families.

6. The Second City Comedy Troupe once had talents including Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey. After their normal shows, they have free improv shows that you can watch.

7. Want to meet new people? The Chicago Greeter will pair you with people who love their city and are happy to give free tours. The tours last anywhere from two to four hours and you’ll see and learn about the city like you never have before.

8. Bring the kids to the interactive Chicago Children’s Museum. Every Thursday, families can get in for free.

9. Throughout the summertime, Chicago’s Park District plays host to 250 movies outside. BYO blanket and picnic materials and make a night of it!

Who said travel has to break the bank? Invest in a plane ticket and hotel room, then fill your days without spending a dime.

So A is jamming again and I’ve never seen him happier.. and when my man is happy.. I’m happy for sure. All his “gadgets” are out and I know he’s looking to DIY some “pedal train” thingy. The last thing he DIY was his guitar wardrobe so I look forward to seeing what he come up with this time.

Anyway, I found this asian strap that I think might make a nice addition to his collection. What do you think?
